What is double tubesheet heat exchanger
Double tubesheet heat exchanger are mainly used in conditions with high hygiene requirements. Their unique design makes it easy to completely empty and maintain a clean state inside the heat exchange tubes, and can provide significant heat transfer performance. The double tube plate structure avoids the risk of cross contamination in conventional heat exchangers.
In practical operation, double tubesheet heat exchanger are generally used in the following two situations: one is to absolutely prevent the mixing of media between the tube and shell sides. For example, for heat exchangers with water passing through the shell side or chlorine gas or chloride passing through the tube side, if the water in the shell side comes into contact with chlorine gas or chloride in the tube side, it will produce highly corrosive hydrochloric acid or hypochlorite, and cause serious corrosion to the material in the tube side. Adopting a double tube plate structure can effectively prevent the mixing of two materials, thereby preventing the occurrence of the above accidents; Another type is when the pressure difference between the tube and shell sides of the medium is large. At this time, a medium is usually added to the cavity between the inner and outer tube plates to reduce the pressure difference between the tube and shell sides of the medium. This series of heat exchangers adopts a double tube plate structure design, which connects the tube side and shell side with their respective tube plates. This breaks the traditional connection between the tube side and shell side of tube heat exchangers, minimizing the risk of cross contamination, facilitating timely detection of leakage hazards, and ensuring safe production for users.

Installation and use
1. Before equipment operation, check whether all components are installed correctly and reliably. A filter should be installed at the inlet of the heat medium. Injection water double tube plate heat exchanger, Pasteur double tube plate heat exchanger, Pharmaceutical double tube plate heat exchanger.
2. The heat exchanger should be regularly descaled based on local water quality and operating conditions. When the hardness of the heated water is high, it should be softened. The heat exchanger should be regularly tested according to the requirements of the local supervision department.
3. When the equipment starts to operate, close the drain valve first, open the inlet valve and also open the exhaust valve at the top of the equipment. When water flows out of the exhaust valve, close the exhaust valve.
4. Open the outlet valve of the heat medium, then open the inlet valve, and adjust the valves on each pipeline according to the pressure of the heat medium to ensure normal heat exchange and smooth condensate drainage.
5. Regular sewage discharge should be carried out to ensure the quality of water supply. When discharging, first close the inlet valve of the heating medium and the outlet valve of the heated water. Open the drain valve again to drain the water. After the discharge is completed, open the outlet valve, close the discharge valve, and open the inlet valve of the heat medium to put the equipment back into operation.
